In due course, the short impression below will be replaced with a more extensive career overview

BIOGRAPHY

Christian Cravero arranged many of the records of singer François Valéry, with whom he worked for decades; he arranged the soundtrack of the film Joy (1983), composed by Valéry. Other artists whose songs were recorded with orchestrations by Cravero, include Guy Bontempelli, Jean Marais, and Debbie Davis. He composed the music to the motion picture L’aventure extraordinaire d’un papa peu ordinaire (1990). As a conductor, he toured with the Phenix Circus Orchestra and performed in crossover concerts.

EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

When François Valéry composed the French entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993, ‘Mama Corsica’, performed by Patrick Fiori, it came as no surprise that Christian Cravero’s help was called upon to arrange and conduct the song. In the international final in Millstreet, this melodious chanson finished fourth.
