Participating acts - Teach-In / Debbie / Albert West
Winning entry - 'Dinge-dong' Teach-In
Winning songwriters - Will Luikinga / Eddy Ouwens / Dick Bakker
Winning orchestrator - Dick Bakker

Note 1 - For this national final, each participating act first performed the song of their choice, upon which an international expert jury chose the winning song. Following this, all three acts performed their arrangement of the winning entry, 'Dinge-dong'; with the audience in the hall chosing their preferred arrangement (1st place for Teach-In, 56 votes / 2nd place for Albert West, 33 votes / 3rd place for Debbie, 11 votes). As a result, the arrangements written for Teach-In's and Albert West's versions of 'Circus' as well as Teach-In's and Debbie's versions of 'Ik heb geen geld voor de trein' were rehearsed by the festival orchestra, but never performed on television

Note 2 - For their reprise of 'Dinge-dong', Teach-In chose to perform the song in English - as was the case on the international Eurovision stage. The lyricists of the Dutch as well as the English versions of the song officially are Will Luikinga and Eddy Ouwens, but both gentlemen have confirmed that the name of Ouwens, who was the group's producer, was only added for copyright reasons

Note 3 - Albert West as well as Teach-In only released studio recordings in English of 'Ik heb geen geld voor de trein' under the title 'You And Me' (English lyrics by Jacques Zwart)

One of the three candidates in the 1975 national selection, Debbie (pseudonym of Ria Schildmeyer), rehearsing with Harry van Hoof's Songfestivalorkest
