BIOGRAPHY

Bernard Gérard worked as an arranger for various artists, including Pierre Perret en Félix Leclerc, with whom he recorded two albums; for Juliette Gréco, he orchestrated one of her best-known songs, ‘Déshabillez-moi’ (1967). He wrote several film scores, including Ne nous fâchons pas (1966) and La route de Saline (1971).

EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

Gérard competed in the Eurovision Song Contest on one occasion, in 1970, when he arranged and conducted the Swiss entry, ‘Retour’, composed and performed by Henri Dés. This song came fourth.
